Gillray’s Steakhouse & Bar steak
The award winning Gillray’s Steakhouse & Bar has announced a new lunch and supper menu for diners. Located within the 5-star London Marriott Hotel County Hall, Gillray’s enjoys a prime position on the South Bank, with picturesque views of some of London’s most iconic landmarks, including the London Eye, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.

Take a break in your day for a 5-star lunch served with stunning views. The new lunch menu at Gillray’s Steakhouse & Bar is served from 10.30am to 5pm.

A highlight of the new lunch menu is the Gillray’s steak burger. Priced at £17.00, the burger is made with top-quality beef from 35-day dry aged English cattle. For a lighter option, choose from a selection of salads including chicory, walnut & buffalo blue cheese served with pickled pear priced at £13.00. Delicious English-inspired sandwiches are also included, such as house cured salt beef brisket with dill pickles available for £9.50 and accompanied with chips.

For a less formal evening meal with friends or family, the new supper menu offers a choice of delectable, English-inspired small plates. The new supper menu is available from 5pm to 11pm at Gillray’s Steakhouse & Bar.

Make your selection from a choice of small plates including braised ox cheek buns with Dorset wasabi priced at £9.00. Also on the menu is smoked salt marsh lamb ribs served with fennel pollen and honey, priced at £9.00. For a true English classic, choose the fish fingers served with tartare sauce, available for £5.00.

Executive Chef at Gillray’s Steakhouse & Bar, Gareth Bowen comments “We’ve devised the new lunch and supper menus with a selection of our most popular dishes alongside plates that are sure to be new favourites. The new menus will sit alongside our existing à la carte menu offerings for those looking for a less formal dining experience at the restaurant.”

An English steakhouse of the finest design, Gillray’s Steakhouse & Bar pays homage to quality English produce by using 35-day dry aged beef. The main menu features nine cuts of steak – bone-out and bone-in – 300g Fillet on the bone, 450g Porterhouse and 600g T-Bone steaks. Gillray’s Steakhouse signature dish, the 1000g ‘Bulls Head’ steak, steals the show - a 1000g-butterfly cut, double rib steak served bone-in.

The bar offers a sophisticated and stylish Thames-side destination, featuring a selection of 39 English gins and an impressive cocktail collection. The cocktail menu is ordered by historical era, from the Georgian cocktails such as National Debt, Wife & No Wife and Very Slippy-Weather each taking their name from popular James Gillray sketches - through to contemporary and modern English concoctions. The cocktail collection doesn’t stop there, but gives a nod to the next generation of cocktails - molecular mixology.
