Korea's Edward Kwon to host Masterclass at Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa

Edward Kwon, one of South Korea's most innovative Chefs, will host a unique Masterclass at Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa this August. Chef Kwon will cook a 4-course lunch and a 5-course dinner as well as conducting an interactive cooking experience with guests, enabling them to learn how to cook the dishes themselves. The Masterclass, which is limited to just 12 people, will be a unique opportunity for gourmet lovers to try their hand with one of the most talked-about chefs of his generation. 

The lunch menu will include Crispy Shrimp, with dried radish kimchi slaw; Truffle Veloute, with roasted garlic espuma; Sous Vide Chicken, with spicy pumpkin puree; and Sweet Potato, with omiza mousse and bokbunja sorbet. 

For the dinner menu, guests will enjoy Pan-Seared Scallop, with sous-vide apple and white bisque; Garden, with crispy ginseng; Foie Gras doyen jang veloute, with white cabbage kimchi; Soy Braised Beef Short Rib, with kimchi and tomato chutney; and Banana, with pineapple sorbet.

Chef Kwon now owns three restaurants in south Korea of which George W. Bush and Madonna have been diners. He was formerly head chef at the Burj al-Arab in Dubai. He also worked for the Ritz Carlton hotel group in Seoul and San Francisco.
