‘Unprecedented demand’ for world’s largest cruise ship’s first ever European season

Following last week’s announcement that the world’s largest cruise ship, Oasis of the Seas, would embark on its first ever European season and transatlantic sailing out of a UK port of call, thousands of holiday hungry Brits have pre-registered their interest to be first in the queue to make a booking when it makes its debut in autumn 2014. The unprecedented demand is the highest ever volume of pre-booking registrations ever seen by Royal Caribbean International.

Royal Caribbean announces 2014 Alaska cruises and cruisetours

Royal Caribbean International have announced their 2014 Alaska cruise and cruisetour season, which will mark 25 years of delivering the Alaskan frontier on land and sea.
The recently revitalised Radiance of the Seas and Rhapsody of the Seas will return to Alaskan waters and offer 34 sailings on seven-night itineraries from Vancouver, British Columbia, and Seattle, Washington. On board, guests can enjoy up to 11 dining options, new and breathtaking entertainment, as well as family activities such as the award-winning Adventure Ocean kids and teen programme, and the new Royal Babies and Tots Nursery, catering to Royal Caribbean’s youngest guests, age six to 36 months old.

Silversea Cruises announce partnership with Royal Geographical Society

The renowned Royal Geographical Society (with The Institute of British Geographers), founded nearly 200 years ago to advance geographical science, is to enhance Silversea voyages even further by providing detailed scientific and historical information to guests embarking on some of the greatest journeys around the globe.

New itineraries and new ports of call - Celebrity Cruises announces 2014 sailings from the UK

Celebrity Cruises has announced its 2014 sailings from the UK with brand new itineraries to Spain and the Canary Islands and to the Norwegian Fjords. The new sailings will go on sale from 21 March 2013.
  Both Celebrity Eclipse and Celebrity Infinity will return to their summer homeports of Southampton and Harwich respectively. Marking the second year running of the two ships being based from the UK, Celebrity Eclipse, recently voted best large ship by consumers in the 2013 Cruise Critic UK Cruisers’ Choice Awards, returns to Southampton for its fifth season in 2014.
