Well-received Alaska Inside Passage cruises to be offered again in 2013

American Cruise Lines, operator of the newest riverboats and small cruise ships in the United States, has announced the conclusion and great success of its inaugural 2012 season in Alaska. The 100-passenger American Spirit – the newest small ship in Alaska –operated numerous weekly roundtrip cruises this summer from Juneau.

Azamara Club Cruises to refine immersion through fleet wide renovation

Azamara Club Cruises has announced plans for the renovation of its two European boutique hotel-style ships, Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest. Both ships are scheduled to enter drydock, in 2012 and 2013, respectively, when each will receive a shipwide facelift and a new profile with a dark-blue hull.

Swan Hellenic launches the Price Promise

Swan Hellenic is introducing (for new bookings made from the 1st September 2012) the Swan ‘Price Promise’ – a pledge to customers and agents that, if the price of published standard fares for their chosen cruise and category of cabin is reduced at a later date, passengers will be offered an equivalent benefit in value. The difference in the benefit provided will either be as a complimentary cabin upgrade or on board credit.

Swan Hellenic expands 2013 rivers programme 

Swan Hellenic has expanded its 2013 river cruising programme with the introduction of the luxurious Royal Crown and sailings on the Dutch waterways.
The new vessel offers Swan Hellenic passengers the chance to visit iconic cities including Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Haarlem, which are known for their world class museums, art and history. The two new sailings complement existing Swan Hellenic 2013 river cruises sailing on the Rhone and Danube on board the A-Rosa fleet of ships.
