Another outstanding award-winning year for Seabourn

Seabourn has had another successful award winning year. The ultra-luxury cruise line gathered recognition and awards from across the travel industry in 2015.  
Seabourn received awards from several high profile publications including both the UK and US editions of Condé Nast Traveller who named Seabourn as "Best Small Ship Cruise Line”. Seabourn was also praised by cruise magazine Porthole whose annual reader’s poll recognised Seabourn Quest as ‘Best Small Ship’ and Seabourn Sojourn as ‘Best Luxury Ship’.


In 2015, Seabourn won a variety of awards from travel trade publication Travel Weekly, who voted Seabourn as "Best Cruise Line - Under 1,000 Berths" in its 13th annual Readers’ Choice Awards. Seabourn also received five Gold Magellan Awards from Travel Weekly for the following initiatives:
-          Seabourn Conversations programme
-          UNESCO partnership
-          Promotional Antarctica video
-          Seabourn Encore’s dedicated microsite
-          Seabourrn Encore’s multi-product direct mail efforts
 

In addition, Travel Weekly recognised Seabourn with the following four Silver Magellan Awards:
-          Luxury Suite Design for the new Penthouse Spa Suites
-          Overall Luxury Ship – Seabourn Quest
-          Overall Loyalty Programme - Seabourn Club
-          Expedition Shore Excursions - Ventures by Seabourn kayaking and zodiac excursions.  

Speaking about the recent accolades, Seabourn President Richard D. Meadows said, "We are grateful that these publications give our guests the opportunity to voice their praise and recognise Seabourn as the best travel ultra-luxury experience at sea. These awards are really for our outstanding team of hard-working hospitality professionals, who continuously deliver unforgettable experiences to our guests on every voyage. They deserve all the recognition for these awards".
