MSC Cruises shows commitment to Dubai with extended
 winter 2015/16 season

ravellers will have even more opportunity to soak up some sunshine next winter following MSC Cruises’ decision to add more sailings to its Arabian programme.
MSC Musica will offer 16 eight-day/seven-night cruises from Dubai for winter 2015/2016 – four more sailings than were operated this winter aboard sister ship MSC Orchestra.

MSC Cruises’ popular Gulf cruises call into Abu Dhabi, UAE; Khor al Fakkan, UAE; Muscat, Oman and Khasab on the Musandum Peninsula before returning to Dubai for an overnight stay on board which allows guests to enjoy the unique nightlife of the glittering desert city.

“Our Dubai, UAE and Oman programme has proved incredibly popular with UK guests in search of some guaranteed good weather,” said MSC Cruises executive director UK and Ireland Giles Hawke.

“We were the first mainstream cruise line to show commitment to Dubai and we are proud to have played a part in building the industry there. The new port facilities are an indication of Dubai’s intentions to grow the business and we are happy to do our bit by extending our next programme.

“Our fly-cruise offering includes direct flights with Emirates from London, Manchester and Glasgow making them the best value – and best quality – holidays on the market.”

MSC Cruises has seen strong demand this winter for MSC Orchestra’s 12 UAE sailings, the last of which departed on February 14 2014.

Fly-cruise prices for winter 2015/2016 aboard MSC Musica start at just £749 per person, including flights from London, Manchester or Glasgow with Emirates and overseas transfers, based on a December 12, 2015 departure.

Guests in search of a longer itinerary can join MSC Musica on its way down to Dubai at the start of the winter season. The ship departs Venice, Italy on November 22 on a spectacular 20-night Grand Voyage, arriving in the UAE on December 11. Calls on the way include Bari, Italy; Piraeus (Athens) Greece; Heraklion, Greece; Rhodes, Greece; Port Said, Egypt; a pass through the Suez Canal; Aqaba, Jordan; Salalah, Oman; Muscat, Oman and Khor al Fakkan, UAE. Cruise prices start at just £700 per person – only £35 per night.
