From Scandi-style cruises up the Thames to traditional highland parties in an ancient Scottish castle, multi-award winning Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events has ensured partygoers have plenty to celebrate in the run-up to Christmas.
The company manages conferencing and events at an extensive portfolio of historic venues, museums, sports stadia and tourist attractions throughout England and Scotland
And each venue is putting its own twist on the celebrations, by offering a selection of party nights and the chance for corporate or leisure guests to host their own, bespoke events in a unique and memorable setting.
London’s partygoers can enjoy a Nordic-themed dining cruise up the River Thames courtesy of Bateaux London, take to the skies in a fight simulator at the Emirates Aviation Experience, or cross the river by cable car for a glittering party at Crystal, the jewel in the city’s Royal Dock.
Those keen to shorten the odds on a memorable event could head for Ascot Racecourse for a Naughty or Nice evening of dinner and dancing, or celebrate the hits of the 70s, 80s and 90s in a star-clothed marquee in the grounds of 500-year-old Knebworth House Hertfordshire.
The Solent Conference Centre, Southampton, is offering festive carvery and buffet lunches along with party nights throughout December, while the Grade I listed Athenaeum, at Bury St Edmunds, is putting it all on red with casino tales for high rolling guests.
The UK’s top sporting stadia are also kicking the festivities into touch, with party nights at Brighton’s Amex Stadium and the John Smith’s Stadium, Huddersfield, carnival-themed fun at Newcastle’s St James’ Park, Bavarian-style entertainment at Leeds’ Headingley Carnegie Stadium and a Snow Ball spectacular at Everton’s Goodison Park.
North of the border, Aberdeen Football Club, Hamilton Park and Perth racecourses and Glasgow’s Hampden Park stadium are all popping the cork on pitch-perfect parties, while the Stirling Court Hotel and historic Dundas Castle will offer a traditional Caledonian welcome at Christmas and, of course, Hogmanay.
Edinburgh’s most prestigious attractions, including the National Museum of Scotland, the Corn Exchange, The Royal Botanic Garden and the Assembly Rooms, will also be pulling out the stops with themed and bespoke party nights throughout the festive season.
“Wherever you are in the run-up to Christmas and however you choose to celebrate, with friends, family, or colleagues, we can offer you a night – and a setting - to remember,” said Natasha Carr, UK Venue & Events Marketing Manager, at Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events.
