Lord’s launches a trio of live cabaret Christmas party packages

Christmas Live in the Thomas Lord Suite
Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), owner of Lord’s Cricket Ground, is giving guests the option of three live music and entertainment packages for Christmas 2016, alongside its traditional festive offering.

Lord’s is offering party guests the choice of two food and drink options for a Great Gatsby, Las Vegas Swing or Disco themed package. The first option includes a traditional three-course festive meal, glass of sparkling or mulled wine and half a bottle of wine per person. The second includes the addition of unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks throughout the evening.

The Lord’s Christmas Live packages offer exclusive use of the Thomas Lord Suite with a maximum capacity of 250 and all feature top themed cabaret entertainment followed by a DJ. A late license for Christmas Live at Lord’s also allows guests to party until 1am. For those looking for a traditional Christmas package in a more intimate setting, exclusive room hire is available in the Pavilion’s Long Room and Writing Room. In addition to this, Lord’s is offering a range of optional extras including a tour of the historic ground, champagne reception and a live jazz trio.

For all 2016 Christmas parties, Lord’s is giving companies and individuals the opportunity to choose between lunchtime or evening events.

Nick Kenton, MCC Head of Sales, Meetings & Events and Hospitality, said: “We had a successful Christmas last year and hope to continue that trend this year with the added option of a festive celebration in the more intimate settings within the Pavilion. We understand how difficult it can be to cater for all tastes and timescales, so decided to provide guests with the option to host their Christmas events in the evening or afternoon to appeal to a wider audience.”

Christmas parties can be booked via the Lord’s website.
