A magical home from home at Gleneagles this festive season

Gleneagles will become a winter wonderland again this December when its festive programme comes to life, transforming the hotel into Scotland’s most magical home from home.
Guests will be able to forget about roasting the turkey, icing the cake, popping the champagne and hanging the decorations, with a range of special festive breaks taking care of every single detail required for the perfect Christmas and Hogmanay celebration.

Three festive packages – the Christmas Cracker Break, Hogmanay Heroics and Half Way Holiday – will end the year on a high with exceptional food, service, live entertainment and luxury accommodation, while a brand new festive programme will offer guests unlimited fun and adventure.

Highlights of the festive programme include a glorious playground of country pursuits and activities, including shooting, falconry and hawking sessions, a full-sized festive ice rink, cocktail making, cheese and wine tasting, golf tuition and tennis coaching, and magnificent firework displays.

Little ones and teenagers will be entertained and inspired by a host of fun-filled activities, including treasure hunts, cooking classes, movie screenings, arts and crafts workshops, dancing and singing lessons, own a pony mornings, as well as by the appearance of Santa Claus himself on Christmas Eve.

The festive period at Gleneagles will be extra special this year with the new addition of some amazing new dining and bar spaces. The hotel’s relaunched main bar, The Century Bar, and a brand new 1920s-inspired craft beer venue in the Dormy Clubhouse, Auchterarder 70, both offer sumptuous new food and drinks menus with stunning views. A third new bar, an elegant American cocktail bar, will offer guests an intimate space for a glass of champagne or aperitif before dinner.

The Christmas Cracker Break starts at £3,670 per room while the Hogmanay Heroics break starts at £4,470 per room, for a three-night stay based on two sharing a Sovereign Room. The price includes all food, all entertainment, the festive programme and complimentary airport transfers for guests arriving and departing from Edinburgh or Glasgow Airports. To make the break extra special, a complimentary fourth night (provided compliments of Gleneagles) is offered on a bed and breakfast basis.
