Short notice incentives to see Usain Bolt in BrusselsThe internationally famous track and field event, known as Memorial van Damme, has been held in Brussels annually since 1977. This was the year when Belgium’s star athlete, Ivo van Damme, died prematurely in a car crash.
The event is to be held this year at the King Baudouin Stadium on September 11 and it is being highlighted as a great opportunity for an incentive with a difference. Two of the competitors, Usain Bolt and the paralympian Marieke Vervoort, are visitor attractions in themselves. There will be musical interludes during the games and a magnificent fireworks spectacular will feature at the close.
There will be a VIP Village where groups can relax and network at a VIP Walking Buffet over drinks before and after the athletics. A private lodge can be made available free of charge for groups of 80 people or more.
MICE packages are being offered for corporate groups that can be set up at short notice, noticeably by the well-known chefs Peter Goossens and Peter de Clercq.
They include tickets and parking facilities, cocktails and, of course, gourmet dining.
