Live Group wins Best B2B Mobile App

Live Group team with award
After scooping awards at EVCOM and at EIBTM in recent weeks, the Live Group’s unique Greengage mobile event app has won yet another award: this time The Event Technology Award for Best B2B Mobile App.
There’s a standout, game-changing feature on this app which sits alongside all of the features expected of an award winner: letting delegates connect with each other before, during and after an event on their own phones and tablets; being able to access all event materials in one place; no downloading; fully secure; creating personalised agendas, messaging and contact sharing between delegates; providing venue information, voting, comments and questions function, forum discussions, resources, note-taking and Twitter integration.

The game-changer is the Locator Function, which revolutionises the event experience for delegates, event organisers, exhibitors and sponsors. It improves the targeting of communications between users at an event and sends direct messages according to their proximity or location. The function diversifies the level of evaluation data available by measuring and tracking footfall, dwell times and collates this with delegate profiles. For exhibitors, sponsors and organisers this helps them to see highly individualised delegates, suited to highly targeted event material and interaction.

Live Group Chief Executive Toby Lewis commented, “The entry which we submitted featured the app being piloted at an event in Amsterdam for one of the big four Accountancy firms. They have pioneered the use of our technologies ever since we first began developing them almost a decade ago and they’re now using them all over the world. The win speak volumes about their faith in our abilities. There are other clients too, in government and in the wider public sector, major venues and exhibition organisers that are coming to us and asking what this app can do for their audiences and their stakeholders. It’s very gratifying to see our event expertise finally being recognised in this way.”
