After impressing guests on a global scale, Liverpool’s Hard Days Night Hotel has been shortlisted in the City of Liverpool Business Awards 2015.
The popular Beatles-inspired hotel located on North John Street, beat off stiff competition from across the city to become one of six finalists in the ‘Best Customer Focussed Business of the Year’ category.

Together with a diverse range of Liverpool businesses, staff members from Hard Days Night Hotel are set to descend on the Sefton Park Palm House during the prestigious awards ceremony, which will take place on July, 16.

General Manager Mike Dewey said: “It is great to have been shortlisted in such a prominent category that aims to recognise and applaud the continuous efforts of local businesses.

“As a luxury accommodation provider, a customer focus is key when delivering an enjoyable and memorable travel experience. To ensure that all of our customers are completely satisfied with their visit, our team members go above and beyond to cater for their individual requirements and specific needs. By doing so we are able to build both a friendly yet professional rapport with each of our guests, and in that offer them a warm and sincere visit.

“In order to deliver customer service of such a high calibre, we pride ourselves in training and developing staff members to increase their wealth of knowledge regarding each aspect of the business.”

The City of Liverpool Business Awards are in their 11th year and celebrate the most innovative, entrepreneurial and successful businesses from across the city. Last year Hard Days Night Hotel was crowned ‘Best Social Media Presence of the Year’, which highlighted its strong social media interaction and active audience engagement.

As a result of its reputation for delivering quality customer service, Hard Days Night Hotel has received the prestigious ‘TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence’ for three consecutive years, and is recognised in the top ten percent of businesses listed on the travel site. As part of TripAdvisor’s acclaim, food & beverage manager Jimmy Platt was also nominated in the site’s 2014 Exceptional Service Awards. Likewise, earlier this year, the hotel was honoured in the LateRooms.com Simply the Guest Awards for the second year running by achieving a ‘Top Rated’ status.

Mike added: “We hope that our customer focussed ethos combined with our genuine friendly approach will not only impress our guests from around the world, but also the judging panel.

“As always the standard of entries is extremely high, therefore we are proud to be amongst some of Liverpool’s most reputable and sought after businesses – good luck to all.”
