Menzies Welcombe Hotel shortlisted in prestigious Food & Drink Awards & retains AA rating

The Hotel will find out if it has won this highly coveted award at a gala dinner and ceremony on Thursday 18 October.
The magazine’s readers were invited to recommend their favourites in the industry through forms in the magazine and online. Once nominations had closed, a panel of judges used set criteria to whittle down the nominations to just three finalists in each category. The final judging stage will be conducted anonymously over the next month with winners remaining secret until the awards evening.
In addition, the Hotel has recently been inspected by the AA and is delighted to have retained its 2 AA Rosettes in the restaurant. The long-established Rosette scheme recognises successful cooking at different levels across the UK. AA Rosettes are solely awarded by AA Hotel and Restaurant Inspectors. External influences from hotels, restaurants or other guides are not taken into account when awarding Rosettes.
