Dormy House becomes an AA Four Red Star Hotel

Dormy House guestroom
Cotswolds favourite, Dormy House in Broadway was awarded Four Red Stars at the AA Hospitality Awards which took place in London last night. The 2016 accolade, which represents the most outstanding examples in the hospitality industry, is awarded for superior levels of quality, high standards of service and for quality of food within its star rating.

Part of the privately owned Farncombe Estate, Dormy House re-opened in August 2013 following a brilliant transformation by London based design house Todhunter Earle.  In February 2014 the hotel launched House Spa – a brand new Cotswolds destination spa designed by Sparcstudio, who are based in Putney, London.  The hotel quickly became renowned for its stylish interiors and relaxed atmosphere and in 2014 was awarded AA Hotel of the Year.

“We are thrilled and honoured that Dormy House has been recognised by the AA in this category,” says Andrew Grahame CEO of Farncombe Estate. “We pride ourselves on our excellent service and facilities and I’m extremely proud of all our staff who have shown commitment in every area of the hotel to achieve this recognition.”

Hotels or guest accommodation assessed by the AA are rated under a set of common quality standards agreed by the UK tourist authorities. Hotels awarded the Four Red Star accolade are praised for their ‘attentive staff, excellent facilities and food and beverage offering’.
