The finalists for the Association Excellence Awards 2016 have been announced. To see who has excelled in various different aspects of association management see the shortlist here.
Created by the Global Conference Network, the Association Excellence Awards is in it's second year and are a unique opportunity for cross-industry associations to come together under one roof and celebrate the achievements and successes of the winners.

There was a 25% increase in the number of submissions for the second edition of the awards programme which identifies best practice in the work being undertaken by all trade and professional associations.

“Trade Associations play an important role as a conduit between businesses and the policy makers and media who shape the environment they work in. In recognising their achievements, the Association Excellence Awards are a great way to celebrate success and share learning.”
David Smith, CEO, Energy Networks Association.

“Now more than ever, professionals need to be engaged with their professional body, and professional bodies must provide excellent support, development opportunities and ensure that efforts to influence policy represent members views and priorities. I agreed to be a judge because I am keen to gain a deeper understanding of what Excellence looks like, and to help celebrate the success of those who richly deserve it within this often overlooked sector.”
Julia Scott, CEO, The College of Occupational Therapists.

The 2016 winners will be announced on the 26 February in a lunchtime ceremony at the Hilton London Bankside.
