Held at the iconic Boisdale of Canary Wharf and presented by Tom Parker Bowles, The Garden Room was awarded Cigar Terrace of the Year in front of a star-studded audience including Jonathan Ross and Burt Reynolds at the ceremony sponsored by Snow Queen Vodka and supported by Glenfiddich.
The Garden Room at The Lanesborough offers guests a sizable collection of Cuban and pre-Castro cigars in the hotels celebrated walk-in humidor. Guests of The Garden Room can enjoy some of the world's finest cigars including the rare Cohiba Behike, of which only 4,000 sticks were made. In addition to the collection of Limited Edition, Special Edition and vintage cigars, The Garden Room offers a menu consisting of some of the rarest Cognacs and Armagnacs in the world, including a collection of Macallan Single Malts and the 1770 Grand Fine Champagne cognac.
The Lanesborough reopened in July 2015 after a major 18 month renovation project by late interior designer Alberto Pinto as one of the masterpiece properties of the Oetker Collection. Overlooking Hyde Park and adjacent to the grounds of Buckingham Palace it is one of London’s most iconic hotels commanding a prestigious location just moments from Knightsbridge. The hotel comprises 93 rooms and suites, and the re-launch includes restaurant Céleste, under the guidance of Executive Chef Florian Favario, protégé of three-Michelin starred Chef Patron Eric Frechon.
