Thames river cruise company Bateaux London, at Embankment Pier, Victoria Embankment, has been awarded a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence 2015 after receiving consistently outstanding reviews on the travel website.
The company runs a range of cruises on its two vessels; Harmony and Symphony and was given the award after 551 travellers rated their experience as ‘excellent’ on TripAdvisor. It is now also ranked 90th of 1,269 ‘things to do’ in London.
Throughout the year, Harmony – which has the largest open viewing deck on the Thames - and glass-sided Symphony, treat leisure and corporate guests to lunch, dinner and afternoon tea cruises, with on board catering from Bateaux London’s team of chefs.
And, on Sundays, those on-board can enjoy lunch along with live entertainment from an easy-listening jazz band.
The various cruises provide a range of entertainment, from on-board sightseeing commentaries to live music and the chance to enjoy unrivalled views of sights such as The Cutty Sark, the New Globe Theatre, The Shard and St Paul’s Cathedral.
Among the comments posted by satisfied customers were, “because of all the things to do in London I don't generally repeat things but enjoyed this so much I can’t wait might try the Afternoon Tea next time or would love to book the New Year’s Eve dinner.”
Another visitor said: “The food was really good, the staff were great from the minute you walk through the reception and the actual trip is a really, really good experience.”
While Michie, from London, wrote: “The seating was extremely comfortable, the pianist played some well-known tunes as we cruised around the Thames and it was a really pleasant way to spend our Saturday afternoon.”

Prices start at £32 per adult for an Afternoon on the River and a flight on the London Eye can be incorporated into any cruise for an additional charge.
