Triple gold for First Choice Conference & Events

Cheltenham based boutique event management and hotel booking agency, First Choice Conference & Events have big values and ambitions, which have set them apart from their competitors since 1995. 2015 marks the anniversary of First Choice Conference & Events 20th year in business; and what a successful year it’s been so far!

The team kicked off the year accomplishing the Gloucestershire Health at Work Award - a new accolade demonstrating involvement with employees in making long term plans in areas of healthy eating, getting active and mental well-being.

In March the agency received recognition for outstanding service in their field when achieving the 2015 Gold Meetings & Incentive Travel Industry ‘Best Intermediary Agency’ (fewer than 40 employees) Award. The annual M&IT poll is considered highly prestigious as it is voted for by corporate clients and awarded at the events industry’s biggest awards dinner, the award recognises industry excellence and the promotion of best practice.

The celebrations continue for the agency, having recently receiving a Gold Investors in People (IIP) accreditation. The accreditation, acknowledged worldwide as a mark of excellence, is only awarded after a rigorous assessment of performance, an outstanding achievement demonstrating total commitment to all employees. Speaking about the wins, Penny Banyard, Managing Director of First Choice Conference & Events:

“I am totally elated by all three gold awards and so proud of my team. Each award demonstrates my commitment to my staff, who in turn look after my clients.”

"The company prides itself on its consistent quality of service and ability to save its clients time and money. It provides personalised specialist venue finding and event management solutions. The team will continue to use the IIP principles to provide focus and attention to detail in all of the services they offer to their clients."
