Conference Partners wins Best Professional Conference Organiser Award 2015

Conference Partners has announced that it was awarded the Best Professional Conference Organiser Award 2015. The announcement was made at the prestigious Event Industry Awards Dinner in the Double Tree by Hilton before an audience of over 500 of their industry peers on 27th May 2015. This is Conference Partners 7th time to win an Event Industry Award and the 4th time to win the Best PCO in Ireland.

Speaking of the company’s success, Managing Director Nicola McGrane commented “We are thrilled to be recognised as the leader in the field of Professional Conference Management. With a proactive approach and an energised team, we have delivered over 80 conferences and event for 66 clients in 2014. Attendance varied from 100- 5000 delegates with 86% of our business occurring in the Republic of Ireland, 2% in Northern Ireland, 5% in the UK and 7% in Europe, the US and Australia. The commitment and drive of the entire team has been key to our success and we project further growth for 2015 and particularly 2016.

In 2014 alone we estimate the value of confirmed proactive business that Conference Partners has generated, in partnership with our clients, secured for Ireland for future years to be in the region of €8 million. Reactive business won by Conference Partners for the same timeframe is estimated to be worth €8.85 million to the Irish economy, giving a total of €16.85 million.”

Conference Partners received the prestigious accolade based on their commitment to developing the business tourism industry, their innovative approach to winning and delivering business and their broad portfolio of clients. All of these elements were highlighted through three particular case studies; the One Young World Summit 2014 which welcomed 1,300 young leaders from 190 countries across the world to Dublin; the 59th International Council for Small Business World Conference 2014 which told the Irish story of entrepreneurship and showcased Ireland’s knowledge economy to just over 900 international delegates; and the 15th International Conference on Genome Variation and Complex Genome Analysis which raised the profile of the research and work being done on Molecular Biology and Genomics sector in Belfast. This specialised conference attracted a niche audience of 140 delegates.
