AlliedPRA destinations receive Excellence Awards from ADMEI

AlliedPRA staff with awards
AlliedPRA Inc., a global leader in the destination management company (DMC) sector, has announced the exciting news that three AlliedPRA offices have been named Excellence Award Winners from the prestigious Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI) 2015 Achievement Awards according to Fran Rickenbach, CAE, IOM, Executive Vice President of ADMEI.

With a large number of entries and a fierce field of competition, the AlliedPRA system came out on top with a record number of finalists this year and took home the three Excellence Awards for the AlliedPRA Atlanta, AlliedPRA Dallas/Fort Worth and AlliedPRA Northern California teams. The winners were announced during the ADMEI Achievement Awards ceremony at the Fiesta Americana Grand in Los Cabos, Mexico.

First up was the Excellence in Risk & Crisis Management award, where AlliedPRA Atlanta pulled off the impossible. As the Southeast was preparing to be swaddled in a paralyzing blanket of ice and snow, AlliedPRA was in the middle of a three-part program, consisting of 2,000 attendees. The Governor of Georgia declared a State of Emergency for the city of Atlanta, ordering everyone to remain off roadways. With a premeditated Emergency Preparedness and Response plan, AlliedPRA ensured maximum safety in the emergency situation. By implementing common sense, flexibility and their emergency plan, the AlliedPRA Atlanta team successfully managed the snow storm crisis. Attendees remained safe while engaging and networking. Strategic diligence allowed for a successful program with client satisfaction and guest safety.

For the Excellence in Meeting Services award, AlliedPRA Dallas/Fort Worth submitted a program for a Fortune 100 insurance provider which hosted its 2014 Sales Summit at the Omni Hotel in Fort Worth. This was the second time AlliedPRA Dallas/Fort Worth was awarded the program, so expectations were very high. With its high level of service and seasoned team, AlliedPRA Dallas/Fort Worth was able to produce round trip airport meet and greet logistics, several off-site shuttles, themed welcome event on-property, a specially designed CSR teambuilding activity, a multi-group dine around, and an interactive off-site event for the marketing team. The AlliedPRA team pulled off a very successful second wow-filled program and the client was beyond thrilled.

Last but not least, the AlliedPRA Northern California team received the award for Excellence in Incentive Travel Programming or Service. The incentive program was designed for a leading commercial lending client’s President’s Club, an annual event held to honor the top echelon of brokers. Forty executives and their spouses were invited to spend four days at Solage Calistoga to relax and enjoy a quintessential Napa Valley experience. Throughout the program, guests attended meetings at the resort but more importantly, got to enjoy their time away from work. The AlliedPRA Northern California team offered a welcome reception at the Culinary Institute of America, optional activities; such as wine blending, horseback riding, and private cooking classes, in addition to dine around dinners at four elite and exclusive wineries, as well as a wine-country themed gala dinner on property the final night.

“We are so proud of our AlliedPRA teams having once again earned the well-deserved recognition for successfully displaying the creative drive and solutions-oriented approach that make each office stand out as true innovators in our industry,” commented Denise Dornfeld, president of AlliedPRA North America.

At the heart of the Excellence Awards are professionalism, commitment to best practices and high standards of excellence, combined with creativity, skill ingenuity and intuitiveness. The finalists displayed positive effects on the client’s program, as well as innovative, program-based solutions that serve as a model for others to follow.
