A key fixture in the diaries of leading event professionals and the wider conference industry, the awards will celebrate best practice and excellence in conference organisations over the last year. The awards will also champion the stand-out teams responsible for the success of such events.
Entry into the respected awards will provide a unique opportunity to be recognised by the industry and fellow peers, with a total of 21 categories ranging from ‘Best Development of an Existing Conference’ to ‘Best Conference Series’.
Claire Wormsley, Director and Founding Partner of the Global Conference Network, says: ‘It is a great privilege once again to be commending the quality of such fantastic events in the B2B market. We’re very much looking forward to receiving all of this year’s entries, as 2014 saw record entry numbers. Competition is stronger than ever, as event organisers capitalise on technological developments, innovative business strategies and effective marketing tools in hosting world-class events.’
Last year’s ceremony, presented by comedian Josh Widdicombe, welcomed 750 industry professionals. The winners included Incisive Media, Terrapinn, Last Word Media, EMAP, ICBI as well as agency BrandFuel and venues Cavendish Conference Centre and Manchester Central.
The deadline for entries into the Conference Awards 2015 is Friday 13 February at 5pm, with the shortlist of finalists to be announced on Monday 6 April.
