Royal Cliff Hotels Group & PEACH receives 6th EIA Monitoring Award

The Royal Cliff Hotels Group and Pattaya Exhibition And Convention Hall (PEACH) have received their 6th Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Monitoring Award 2014 from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment at Centra Government Complex Hotel & Convention Centre Chaeng Watthana on December 17, 2014.

Ms. Sirinarin Samanaree, Senior Sales Executive –Commercial Account of the Royal Cliff Hotels Group was present to receive the prestigious award presented by Deputy Commander in Chief of the Royal Thai Army, Mr. Dapong Ratanasuwan, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment. Confirming its outstanding commitment and responsibility towards community service and the environment, Royal Cliff Hotels Group has received its first award from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in the year 2000 and has been receiving EIA Monitoring Awards since 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2009.

“Receiving our 6th EIA Monitoring Award reflects our relentless dedication towards environmental initiatives and conservation projects that greatly benefit our society.” Mr. Vitanart Vathanakul, Executive Director of the Royal Cliff Hotels Group said. “We are proud of this achievement as it is a testament to our long lasting commitment towards environmental sustainability through the continuous implementation of significant environmental protection and energy saving policies throughout the property.”

Since its establishment in 1973, the Royal Cliff Hotels Group has been championing environmental conservation policies. The award-winning property has its own wastewater treatment plant and implements various environmental programs including a system of waste management, recycling and disposal and energy saving campaigns to raise awareness among its staff and valued guests. It is the first convention hotel in Thailand to achieve both ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 accreditation.
