The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa triumphs at the Good Spa Guide Awards 2014

The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa has announced its success at the annual Good Spa Guide Awards 2014. The Spa & Bath House, an holistic haven in the heart of The Royal Crescent, located in the centre of the historic City of Bath, was awarded ‘The Best Spa for a City Break’.

This accolade is testament to the meticulous refurbishment and restoration project, which this five-star hotel and spa retreat underwent earlier this year.  It is also thanks to a well thought out and comprehensive treatment menu, offering exclusive signature treatments performed by expert professional therapists.

The re-design of The Spa & Bath House, by specialist company Spa Creators, celebrates ancient and modern spa culture simultaneously and was completed in April.  With a strong focus on the elements (earth, air, fire and water), the design of the spa harnesses the properties of wood, bamboo, pebble and Georgian stone in order to create an environment of luxurious serenity. The Spa & Bath House consists of seven treatment rooms, a 12-metre relaxation pool, hot tubs, sauna, steam room, Hamman and fitness room.  ‘The Hero’ 90-minute signature treatment has been designed in collaboration with ESPA to incorporate skin cleansing, body and facial.   As part of this year’s re-launch, a series of new residential packages, day retreats and offers have been introduced.

General Manager, Jonathan Stapleton comments, "I am delighted that The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa has won ‘The Best Spa for a City Break’.  I am confident that the hotel will continue to gain gravitas as one of the UK’s must-visit luxury spa retreats."
