The ICE Travellers Cashcard wins at the Prepaid365 Awards for the second year in a row

ICE – International Currency Exchange, the global foreign exchange and prepaid currency card provider, has been recognised with 3 highly prestigious award wins. The ICE Travellers Cashcard has won Best Free Prepaid Card at the 2014 Prepaid365 Awards and was named runner up in the Best Incentives/Rewards Prepaid Card and Best Prepaid Card Website Design categories.

The Prepaid365 Awards are the UK’s leading consumer Prepaid Card Awards where votes are cast by consumers. For the 2014 awards, over 574,000 survey responses were collated and analysed to identify the year’s winners.

Tom Johnson, Head of Online Business at ICE said “The ICE Travellers Cashcard was developed with the customer at the heart of the proposition. Our focus is providing travellers with easy and secure access to currency which is why our Euro and US Dollar ICE Travellers Cashcard products have no fees attached when a customer initially loads £700 or more.”

“To pick up awards two years running at the Prepaid365 awards says a lot about the value consumers place on the ICE Travellers Cashcard. It is particularly gratifying to see that customers recognise the additional benefits we offer such as free Family cards and 1.5% cashback on point of sale purchases. The competition in these categories was tough making this win an even more significant achievement.”

Amit Sharma, CEO and Senior Prepaid Consultant at Prepaid365, the UK’s leading Prepaid Card Portal added: “I am delighted to see the ICE Travellers Cashcard being rewarded with consumer recognition across 3 categories at the Prepaid365 Awards in 2014. The ICE team have built on their success at last year’s awards and gone one better by scooping the top prize in the best free prepaid card category. A prepaid card with a free back up card, cashback, and same rate currency buy back, the ICE Travellers Cashcard is a worthy winner and there is undoubtedly more to come.”
