The World Luxury Spa Awards, part of the World Luxury Hotel Awards, give recognition to the best Spas in the world for excellence of service in ten separate categories. The winners are voted by clients who are frequent visitors to the most beautiful spas around the world.
Designed by Maja Oetker and the renowned architect Pierre-Yves Rochon, the Spa Le Bristol by La Prairie opened in October 2011 and is an haute couture spa, partially bathed in natural light and opening onto an interior garden. An emblematic Parisian palace hotel, Le Bristol has formed an exclusive partnership with the prestigious Swiss skin care brand La Prairie in order to offer its clients unique treatments in an exclusive setting.
After being voted "Best Spa Manager" at the Black Diamond Award in June, Isabelle Gobbo has received this prestigious title for the second time in less than a year.
This enthusiastic young woman has more than 20 years' experience in the luxury hotel sector in Paris where she has occupied various positions, mainly in finance departments.
In 2010, Didier Le Calvez, CEO of Le Bristol Paris offered her a new challenge: developing a new spa. Isabelle Gobbo enthusiastically grasped this opportunity. She was won over by this human adventure and has since confirmed her tremendous management qualities, her originality and rigour worthy of this prestigious award.
Isabelle Gobbo states: "We are delighted to receive this award which recognises the daily work and investment of a team of professionals and experts trained in La Prairie care protocols. It is also a wonderful recognition for Le Bristol and the Oetker Group to which we belong."
Didier Le Calvez, CEO of Le Bristol Paris, congratulated the Château Saint-Martin & Spa, which won the award for "Best Luxury Spa Destination" in Europe and "Best Luxury Spa" in France; as well as the Palais Namaskar which won the "Best Luxury Wellness Spa" in Africa and "Best Luxury Spa Destination" in Morocco.
