Both Holiday Inn York and Crowne Plaza London Heathrow achieved Gold Accreditation for 2013, which only 31 venues in the UK have received this quarter.
The annual accreditation is based on rigorous research conducted by BDRC Continental, the UK’s largest independent market research agency. The feedback from over 22,000 event hosts, bookers and customers across more than 350 venues, looks at how likely delegates and guests are to recommend a venue for a conference or event.
David Taylor, Head of Commercial for IHG UK & I Managed Hotels said: “We are thrilled two of our hotels have achieved the VenueVerdict Gold Accreditation. It is testament to the efforts of our hotel teams, and a step change in fantastic service and high-quality food provided to our guests - they should be immensely proud of this recognition.”
With over 622 meeting rooms across 61 venues, the IHG UK Company Managed Hotels has one of the strongest meetings and events offerings in the UK. Both Holiday Inn York and Crowne Plaza Heathrow registered scores of +70 or higher, putting them significantly above the national average.
The hotel group has ambitious plans to become the market leader within the M&E sector, after significant investment in developing the offering of their corporate services, including tailored menus, state-of-the-art technology and free unlimited Wi-Fi for conference organisers. IHG UK & I Managed Hotels promises to continue their growth in this department with the delivery of high quality products and service delivery, together with outstanding value for money.
