Trinity Event Solutions ends 2013 with more awards

Trinity Event Solutions team and award
Trinity Event Solutions has been named winner of the Contribution to the Community Award and runner-up in the People Development Award at the Peterborough Telegraph Business Awards.

Speaking about the success, Jacqui Kavanagh, Managing Director of Trinity Event Solutions said: "I'm absolutely delighted that we have been recognised for our dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility and staff welfare. Our philosophy of It’s not what you give – it’s how you live is at the heart of our business. I'm particularly pleased that the judges recognised the significance of achieving IIP Gold and commitment in our behaviour and our activities to society, our stakeholders, our people and the environment."

One of the key achievements in 2013 was the Trinity Triple Challenge. At the beginning of the year all employees voted for three charities to support in a major fund raising event. These were Hospital at Home, The Children’s Air Ambulance and Rutland Sailability. 25 members of staff chose a city or region to visit, then each arranged 20 site visits over one weekend, so in total more than 500 venues were visited, which supports our ethos of visiting venues to expand our knowledge and provide clients with first-hand information. All of the venues visited were asked for a prize to put on our auction site. In total, £20,840 was raised, so the event was a great success.

At the awards ceremony Peterborough Telegraph managing director, Richard Parkinson said: “I would like to congratulate everyone. The standard and quality of entries was once again, exceptionally high this year, and the judges have had many sleepless nights trying to choose just one winner in each of the categories.” Chairman of the Judges, Bill Agnew of Opportunity Peterborough added: “The awards have brought out some new names and hidden gems and the judges had some tough decisions to make singling out the winners.”
