Hotel triumphs with second consecutive victory at the World Luxury Hotel Awards
The Robertson Small Hotel, a privately-owned 5-star boutique hotel located a two hours’ drive from Cape Town in the eponymous town of Robertson, affirmed its status at the prestigious 2012 World Luxury Hotel Awards by clinching the title of South Africa’s Best Luxury Country Hotel for the second consecutive year.
The 2012 World Luxury Hotel Awards which saw a 50% increase in countries participating in this highly-acclaimed competition, one again recognised this opulent country retreat in the heart of the scenic Breede River Valley – a mere 90-minute drive from Cape Town – for its world-class facilities and commitment to the highest standards of quality service.
Over 1 000 luxury hotels, lodges, resorts and private islands were nominated to participate in the 2012 competition and the winners were decided by the people that matter the most – international tour operators, travel agents and hotel guests.
