On Wednesday night, long term advocate of ICC Sydney and of the value business and entertainment events bring to the city’s economy, The Hon. Patricia Forsythe, Executive Director of Sydney Business Chamber, and more than 100 chamber members were invited for a viewing of some of the venue’s 70 event spaces.
The evening’s activities will help the management team from AEG Ogden shake down the spectacular new building and train its team members ahead of its December opening, with the 2017 World Chambers Congress confirmed as one of the venue’s 380 events.
Members had this to say about the experience:
The Hon. Patricia Forsythe, Executive Director, Sydney Business Chamber – "The venue truly is beautiful and a pride for the State. I have enormous confidence that this wonderful venue and its management team will justly promote Sydney to the world as it continues to attract wonderful events for the city, supporting Sydney’s knowledge and service economies."
Sandra Chipchase, CEO, Destination NSW – "I am so proud as a Sydneysider to see this wonderful addition to our tourism offering ready to launch. It is simply the best venue in Australia, if not the world."

Our audiences are in for a real treat when they attend Sydney Festival events here in January." Robyn Hobbs OAM, NSW Small Business Commissioner – "That’s a gold star for Sydney."
Jan McClelland AM, Deputy Chancellor, University of New England – "ICC Sydney has exceeded all my expectations in both quality and design." Tim Reardon, Secretary, Transport for NSW – "Sydney hasn’t seen the likes of this before – the quality of the build and the finishes are spectacular."
Nola Watson, Board Director, NSW Business Chamber – "What a spectacular facility to showcase Sydney in a way that we haven’t seen before. The design incorporates the colours of Sydney and Australia."
