VOX to host premier analytics conference

The VOX foyer
The Vox Conference Centre, , situated in Resorts World Birmingham, will welcome over 1,110 delegates as it hosts the SAS Forum UK from 26 -28 September.
The event will be maximising the full capabilities of the Vox, utilising the flexible nature of the venue. The foyer with floor to ceiling windows overlooking Pendigo Lake will host an exhibition and refreshments with award-winning catering from Amadeus.

The five suites will be used for breakout seminars and offices – with two of the rooms being combined via the venue’s innovative skyfold walls to make a theatre style conference with large stage set.

Sales Director James Elston said: “SAS is the perfect fit for the Vox as the event showcases top of the range analytics software, and as a venue, technology is an integral part of every event we host. We pride ourselves on being able to offer clients a new world of conferencing, and as the world’s largest vendor in the business intelligence and analytics market who look to modernise the way organisations extract insights from data, SAS’ ethics are perfectly aligned with those of the Vox.”

James added: “We are proud to be associated with such a prestigious company and wish SAS a very successful conference.”

Rachel Lockwood, Marketing Director for SAS UK & Ireland, said: “We were really impressed with the venue in terms of suitability for SAS Forum UK, which brings together our customers and analytics experts in a series of keynote and customer presentations, software demonstrations and networking opportunities. It has the flexibility to meet on all these fronts, plus it has an impressively modern feel to it. It’s also convenient in terms of transport links and nearby accommodation. Finally, its central location is ideal when you have customers travelling from all over the UK.”
