The flexibility and scalability of the north of England’s leading conference and events venue has attracted an increased number of special events during this traditionally quieter period.
Ninja Warrior UK will take up a 26-day tenancy at Manchester Central in August, when the iconic Central Hall will provide the backdrop for the third series of ITV’s hit entertainment programme.
A number of returning events have also contributed to the upsurge in utilisation, including MCM Comic Con, Bricktastic and Manchester Furniture Show.
Angie Robinson, CEO of Manchester Central, said: “Although July and August are traditionally quieter months for events, our venue is busier than ever. That said, we’ve seen an increase in utilisation all year-round – which led us to break previous records with our most recent FYE results.
“We continue to attract some of the world’s leading conferences and exhibitions however Manchester Central’s reputation for outstanding event delivery is increasingly appealing to a much wider range of organisers and has allowed us to successfully expand our scope throughout the last two years.”
