The news follows ATM’s acquisition of three new trade titles to its existing portfolio in the electrical contractor, IT and data infrastructure sectors.
Commenting on the launch, David Kitchener, Managing Director of ATM, said: “Our Company has doubled in size with our new acquisitions, which gives us a broad knowledge in these sectors. We are keen to help all the sectors that we represent and the Electrical Design and Installation Expo is a fantastic way in which we can achieve this. The NEC was always our first choice of venue because of its reputation and experience; it’s been hosting fantastic live events for over 40 years so we are confident that they will be able to help us deliver a successful launch show.”
The NEC is dubbed ‘the venue to launch’ due to its reputation of helping new exhibitions grow. On average, shows that launch at the NEC, grow in size by 25% in year two, with a 28% increase in exhibitors and 21% increase in visitors.
David Gallagher, Business Development Manager at the NEC, said: “We are thrilled that ATM has chosen the NEC as the venue to launch the Electrical Design and Installation Expo. We intend to work closely with them to ensure a great first show and then look to how we can help the event grow in the future.”
