The world’s biggest group fitness festival is back and the first stop is ExCeL London

Les Mills Live
Reebok and global group fitness brand Les Mills have announced ExCeL London as the first stop on their 2016 world tour of the ultimate fitness experience: Les Mills Live.
The Les Mills Live global tour starts at ExCeL on Saturday 12 March with 4,000 fans coming together for ten hours of music and high energy workouts. Expect everything from the latest in High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workouts like LES MILLS SPRINT™ and LES MILLS GRIT™ to timeless classics such as BODYPUMP™ and BODYCOMBAT™.

Les Mills Live London will host 35 different workouts in one day, with something for everyone.

Last year in the United Kingdom, Reebok and Les Mills got 6,500 people moving together across three live events. This year more than 8,000 people will come together to celebrate working out in a 1,000 capacity class.

Phillip Mills, CEO of Les Mills International says Les Mills Live is more than a global fitness festival.  “It’s more than fitness, more than sweat, more than you and me. Les Mills Live ignites something inside each and every participant. It pushes them, it motivates them but most importantly it brings out the unexpected.  Les Mills Live is about bringing people together to fuel their love of fitness. If you think you know group fitness; think again.”

Reebok Brand President Matt O’Toole says that in the fourth year of this long-term partnership with Les Mills International, Les Mills Live is another example of Reebok and Les Mills challenging the status quo of fitness culture.  O’Toole adds, “We believe fitness is a way of life, and by working with partners such as Les Mills to create events like Les Mills Live we can provide the motivation for people to be more active - physically, mentally and in their own communities. We are taking fitness to the people in a way that hasn’t been done before.”

James Rees, Executive Director, ExCeL London, added: “At ExCeL London, we place huge importance on the well-being of every visitor, exhibitor and delegate who comes through our door. We believe that providing the right environment, along with the right balance of healthy, nutritious, food and access to the latest technology, is key to someone’s experience. We are delighted that Les Mills and Reebok will be hosting their event with us and look forward to welcoming 4000 visitors for what’s set to be a high-energy, exciting event at ExCeL.”
