ACC Liverpool launches Pitch Perfect toolkit

ACC Liverpool has launched an online toolkit aimed at assisting agents during the pitch process.  
‘Pitch Perfect’ contains essential venue and destination information useful for a broad level of scenarios – from a detailed high level pitch to an internal briefing for management. The range of documents, which can be accessed through a secure login system via ACC Liverpool’s recently launched client extranet, include venue layouts, access to an image library, CAD drawings and digital versions of destination information including hotels and supporting venues.

Janina Monaghan, proposal manager at Ashfield Meetings and Events, said: “Compiling pitch documents for clients can be time consuming.  Often information about the venue and the destination is needed quickly and efficiently in order to meet deadlines.  ACC Liverpool understands the requirements of events agencies and is taking positive steps by addressing those needs through the introduction of its new toolkit for agents.”  

The launch comes as the venue, home to BT Convention Centre, Echo Arena and Exhibition Centre Liverpool, welcomes around 5,000 delegates to a selection of corporate events in the first quarter.  

Highlights so far have included Kia, which came to the venue for the first time last month working with the agency Laing Gale & Associates; the return of Swinton, which works with agency Venue Choice; and Lyreco.  BBC Worldwide Showcase will return to ACC Liverpool for the fourth time this month.  

The venue recently secured Cambridge Weight Plan which will bring 1,000 delegates in November for its annual conference.  A dinner will be held in the new exhibition centre, opening in September, as part of the two day event, organised with Bright Sky Events.  

ACC Liverpool is set to launch Pitch Perfect at Confex this month.  The team will unveil the new product at presentations on stand CF19 on February 18 and 19.

“The Pitch Perfect toolkit provides vital information at the touch of a button, making the whole process as seamless as possible.  Whilst it has been created with agents in mind, we hope that everyone will find it useful.”  

ACC Liverpool is also taking its in-house series of educational workshops on the road, specifically tailored for agencies with topics ranging from risk assessment to health and safety.   

The ACC Liverpool team will be at Confex on Wednesday and Thursday February 18 and 19, stand CF19.
