Tuesday marked a special date for London Luton Airport as Slovenia’s national flag carrier, Adria Airways, together with the Slovenian Tourist Board and Slovenian Embassy held a trade launch event at the Airport.

Eastern Airways announces code share with Azerbaijan Airlines  

UK regional airline, Eastern Airways, which operates more flights from Aberdeen than any other airline, has entered a codeshare and ticketing agreement with Azerbaijan Airlines.
In May 2011, Azerbaijan Airlines launched a twice a week service from Aberdeen to Baku, which operates on Tuesdays and Sundays.

Etihad launches flights to Basra, Iraq

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, will launch flights to Basra in southern Iraq from mid-April.   Basra becomes the 84th destination in the carrier’s global network and the third city it flies to in Iraq. Etihad Airways already operates services to the capital, Baghdad, and Erbil, in the country’s north.

Cathay Pacific takes delivery of first aircraft with new Premium Economy product and long-haul Economy Class seats

Cathay Pacific Airways has taken delivery of a new Boeing 777-300ER that is the first aircraft to feature its Premium Economy Class product and new long-haul Economy Class seats. The aircraft – the airline’s 25th 777-300ER – arrived at Hong Kong International Airport yesterday evening (26 February). At the same, the airline also received its fifth Boeing 747-8F from the manufacturer.
