Oman Air and Boeing boost job prospects for Technical College graduates

Oman Air has joined with Boeing to run a training and recruitment skills programme for graduates of the High Technical College in Muscat.
The programme aims to raise the capabilities of new graduates and give them the skills and information required to prosper in today’s job market and work environments. It targets 120 young Omani students.

Air Charter Service reports impressive growth in first quarter

Leading aircraft charter specialist, Air Charter Service, has seen a 12% increase in charters across its three departments – private jets, commercial airliners and cargo aircraft.

The company, which arranged more than 6,500 charter contracts in 2012 says that it has been a very bright start to 2013. Chairman, Chris Leach, commented: “We are especially pleased with the success of the executive jets department, which has increased charter numbers by an impressive 20% compared to last year’s first quarter. The commercial jets division is growing at a steady pace too and cargo remains strong as always. We have already arranged almost 1,600 charters in the first three months of the year.
