La Compagnie Boutique Airline’s operations between the UK and the US benefit directly from the single sky agreement within the EU and from the open skies agreement between the EU and the US.
As all other airline players, La Compagnie’s short to medium term focus will be to evaluate this future environment while clearly marking its preference at having all agreements and treaties presently in effect and related to Air Transportation to be preserved one way or another. At the same time, La Compagnie will keep monitoring the evolution of the GBP currency exchange rate.
“We have invested significant resources over the past year on our London-New York route, which continues to grow and now has load factor of over 70%. We do believe that it is in the best interests for all that the open skies agreement remains within the future regulatory framework. At the same time we also need to study the impact of such new environment on the evolution of the market and future development opportunities.” said Frantz Yvelin, Founder-CEO of La Compagnie Boutique Airline.
