Go for gold with Vietnam Airlines' Frequent Flyer special offer

Join Lotusmiles and buy just one return flight to Vietnam to earn an upgrade to Titanium or Gold membership

Vietnam Airlines is offering new and existing members of its Lotusmiles frequent flyer programme an instant upgrade to Titanium or Gold membership for up to a year, in return for simply buying a return ticket from London Heathrow to Vietnam. On claiming their upgrade, passengers gain access to excellent members’ benefits including priority check-in and boarding, extra baggage allowance and – exclusively for Gold cardholders – Business Class lounge access whenever they travel on Vietnam Airlines operated flights.

Vietnam Airlines is currently offering special promotional fares for travel until 9 July, with return flights to Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City starting from as little as £858 or £862 respectively in Premium Economy, and £1,562 or £1,565 respectively in Business Class. Customers purchasing a Business Class return can claim an instant upgrade to Gold membership, while those buying a Premium Economy return ticket will be entitled to Titanium membership. Travel must be completed by 30 September 2016 in order to qualify, with both Gold and Titanium membership upgrades valid for up to 12 months. Members of the Lotusmiles programme earn miles when travelling with Vietnam Airlines or any other airline in the SkyTeam alliance. They can also accumulate miles by using products or services from partners in industries including banking, hotels, car rental and telecommunications.

Vietnam Airlines offers the UK’s only nonstop flights to Vietnam, with six per week from Heathrow Terminal 4 to Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City – rising to daily in Summer 2016. In September 2015 Vietnam’s national flag carrier introduced brand new next-generation Boeing B787-9 Dreamliners on its UK routes as part of a major fleet upgrade, and launched a fresh new livery, corporate identity and brand image. Vietnam Airlines’ flights are carefully scheduled to offer convenient overnight journeys in both directions, and excellent onward connections via its comprehensive network of over 40 destinations in Asia, including 23 within Vietnam and Indochina as well as China, Japan and Taiwan.
