With the launch of its winter flight schedule, the German airline will now be flying to London-Heathrow, Malaga, Naples, Nice and MoscowThe range of Germanwings flights taking off from the regional capital of North Rhine-Westphalia continues to grow: with the launch of the winter flight schedule 2014/15, the German airline took over further routes out of Düsseldorf from parent company Lufthansa as of Sunday, 26 October 2014. They include, for example, the route between Düsseldorf and London-Heathrow, the British capital’s largest airport.
From now on Germanwings will operate the route 33 times a week. Other new destinations offered by the German airline are the three airports of Malaga, Naples and Nice in Southern Europe.
In future, Germanwings will fly to Malaga in Spain twice a week. Nice on the Côte d’Azur is also on the schedule with two flights arriving from Düsseldorf per week. And with the launch of the winter flight schedule, the German airline is offering no less than three flights a week to Naples, Italy’s third largest city.
Last but not least, Germanwings will also fly from Düsseldorf airport to Moscow, operating the route on a daily basis.
