London Oxford Airport welcomes return of regular Jersey flights

London Oxford Airport welcomes the return of weekly flights to the popular Channel Island of Jersey this Saturday morning, May 10th with C.I. Travel Group.  Running through to September, the first flight will take off 0940 am.  The first two passengers to check in at the Oxfordjet terminal on Saturday will be invited to go along to the Jersey Visitor Centre on their arrival to pick up a pair of Jersey Passes entitling them to two days’ complimentary entry to this summer’s top 17 attractions, including Mont Orgueill Castle and a box of Channel Islands fudge.  They will also receive a bottle of champagne from London Oxford Airport.

This summer, flights are being operated by established and expanding Channel Islands-based regional airline Blue Islands, operating modern and comfortable 46 seat ATR42 aircraft.   Blue Islands is a new carrier to  London Oxford Airport.

Seat only flights start at £129 per person return and CI Travel (through its Airways Holidays and Jersey Travel brands) has put together a package of competitive holiday prices with lead in prices starting at £318 pp for seven nights.  Holiday packages are on sale through local travel agents as well as online at www.jerseytravel.com.

And, in a promotion to mark the return of its new summer programme, Co-op Travel in Carterton, West Oxfordshire, won a two-night short break stay in Jersey, including flights, at the 5 star Grand Jersey Hotel in a prize draw.  The lucky travel agent is Becki Woodley.

The new route is also being marketed to hoteliers in Jersey who may wish to offer their Oxfordshire-based clients a direct flight to the Island.
