WhichAirline finds Pegasus most affordable!

Flight-comparison website, WhichAirline, has named Pegasus Airlines the most affordable airline in its comparison of 20 low-cost airlines. Pegasus was shown to have an average ticket price of just €63.19 (£53.41), with its fares including taxes and charges as well as a 20kg baggage allowance on international flights as standard, with other airlines often charging extra for these.

Pegasus Airlines was found to be the most affordable low-cost airline by WhichAirline which compared the fares of 20 low-cost airlines, calculating the average total price as including a 20kg baggage allowance and transaction fees. Pegasus includes a 20kg baggage allowance as standard on all of its international routes (15kg on routes within Turkey) and does not charge a transaction fee.

Pegasus took the number one spot with an average ticket price of €63.19 (£53.41), with such well-known brands as Ryanair and easyjet charging €83.45 (£70.53) and €89.97 (£76.05) respectively. The stated price was for one-way international short-haul flights in the cheapest tariff operated in October/November 2013. Transaction fees were based on payments with a Visa debit card.
