Pegasus Airlines launches four new Turkish routes

Pegasus Airlines is launching four new routes within Turkey, Edremit (Balikesir), Erzurum, Mardin and Sirnak, in the coming months, three of which are connectable from London Stansted. Continuing to offer its guests great-value, Pegasus' single fares start at just £76 including taxes and charges with booking open now. 

Edremit (Balikesir) from £85.99
Edremit is the gateway to Turkey's northern Aegean region and is known as the olive-growing capital of Turkey. The region is famous for its Kaz Dagi national park and the surrounding pretty villages, which are popular with tourists during the summer months.

Launching on 15 December, the new Edremit flights depart London Stansted on Mondays at 08:20, returning from Edremit on Sundays at both 12:55 and 23:35 and on Thursdays and Fridays at 12:55. Single fares start at £85.99 including taxes and charges.

Erzurum from £89
Erzurum is popular for its skiing at the Palandoken Winter Sports Centre, which has some of the longest and steepest ski pistes in the world and can accommodate up to 32,000 people per day on a combination of runs. In April, the resort features the popular Palandoken Ski Cup.

Launching on 20 January, the new Erzurum flights depart London Stansted on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 12:55, returning from Erzurum on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays at 07:25 and on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 22:25. Single fares start at £89 including taxes and charges.

Mardin from £76
Mardin with its Arab-style sandstone houses clinging vertiginously to the hillsides is often referred to as an open-air museum. With a glorious Assyrian heritage to discover there are many churches and monasteries worth seeing, including the famous Deyr'ul Zafaran Monastery as well as exciting projects interweaving past and present, including the Sakip Sabanci Museum. The region also has a thriving local cuisine with delicacies including stuffed ribs and a sweet 'sausage' made of walnuts and dried fruit on offer in the local markets.

Launching on 22 January, the new Mardin flights depart London Stansted on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 23:35, returning from Mardin on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 09:50. Single fares start at £76 including taxes and charges.
