New Romanian flights from London Luton Airport

TAROM the national airline of Romania and SkyTeam Alliance member has today announced a new service to Iasi, Romania which will see a 134 seat Boeing 737-300 operating in a two class configuration. 
Services will operate twice weekly from London Luton commencing Tuesday 29 October 2013. This exciting new service will open up new trade and tourist routes between Luton, the South East of England and Iasi located in the North East of Romania.   

Lași is one of the largest cities and municipalities in Romania. Located in the Moldavia region, Iași has traditionally been one of the leading centres of Romanian social, cultural, academic and artistic life.

Airport Managing Director, Glyn Jones, said “We are delighted that TAROM will shortly commence services. With convenient flight times, quality onboard service and competitive fares we are sure the Iasi flights with TAROM will be a great success.”

TAROM Project Director Sorin Georgescu stated: “We are delighted to commence services to London Luton Airport located in close proximity to London, one of the most important centres for business deals and most exciting destinations for tourists in the world”.
