Fly with CityJet to Amsterdam and see the latest painting by Van Gogh

This September, Amsterdam becomes the art world’s hottest city with the unveiling of Vincent Van Gogh’s long-lost painting “Sunset at Montmajour”. The canvas is the first discovery by the Dutch master since 1928. Catch the first glimpse of this rare masterpiece with one of CityJet’s eight daily flights to the capital for just £99 return.

Experts authenticated the landscape by the iconic thick brush strokes, materials used and letters sent by Van Gogh referring to the work.

The historic painting will be on show in the Van Gogh Museum from the 24th September 2013 for one year only and will add to the already prestigious collection of 140 pieces by the artist. The museum already attracts more than 1 million visitors each year. Located on Amsterdam’s historic Museumplein, art lovers can also find other treasures such as Rembrandt's Night Watch at the nearby Rijksmuseum.

CityJet offers fares from London City to Amsterdam starting at just £99 return, including all taxes and charges, making this once in a lifetime experience impossible to pass up. See a piece of history by one of the world’s most celebrated artists while you can.
