The first show commenced in London on Tuesday 04 June with further shows taking place in Glasgow, Newscastle, Manchester and Birmingham over the next week.
The roadshows will give both airlines the chance to inform and engage agents about the new global partnership, outline the benefits – its products and services - and showcase the strengthened network connectivity.
Between 150 and 300 travel trade partners are expected at each of the five events and representatives of both Emirates and Qantas will be on hand to promote the partnership and answer questions.
At each roadshow trade partners will also be given the opportunity to win a pair of flights to Dubai and Australia by answering a series of questions on the new alliance. Emirates and Qantas embarked on their new global partnership on 31st March this year, opening new routes and opportunities for passengers travelling via the global hub of Dubai.
The partnership gives Qantas customers one-stop access to more than 70 Emirates destinations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. For Emirates the partnership has opened up Qantas’ Australian domestic network of more than 50 destinations and 5,000 flights per week.
