Finnair to hold a live chat today at 30,000 feet!

Finnair’s customers were the first airline passengers in the world to try the Windows 8-powered HP ElitePad 900 tablets as in-flight entertainment and now join Finnair for a live chat onboard a flight from Helsinki to New York on May 1st (AY005 at 14.10 pm EET).

The chat will be hosted live on Twitter onboard using the new wifi join the conversation @finnair. Finnair will also post videos and photos on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/Finnair. The idea is that people can ask questions about Finnair’s in flight service and wifi.  Finnair will then find the right staff on board to answer the questions they will also post photos, updates and feelings from the flight.

Finnair began a two-month trial of the tablets and wireless internet service on board one of its Airbus A330 wide body aircraft on 20th March. The plane, with the registration OH-LTT, will be used on both scheduled and charter flights.  Passengers are encouraged to give feedback about the facilities.
