ACTE announces search committee for new leadership after Executive Director resigns
The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) have announced the resignation of ACTE Executive Director, Ron DiLeo effective 1 December 2012. ACTE also announced the creation of a search committee to find a new Executive Director.“We have been very fortunate to have someone as dynamic as Ron DiLeo leading ACTE into the next generation of our Association’s work, growth and education,” ACTE President Suzanne Neufang said. “Under Ron’s leadership as Executive Director, ACTE has accomplished a great deal, including the expansion into two new markets and the launch of several, new global initiatives which have energized our membership and sponsor base.”

The World Travel Agents Associations Alliance (WTAAA) held its bi-annual board meeting over two days in Madrid, April 17-18, 2012. WTAAA meets twice a year to discuss the management of issues that affect travel industry professionals across the world and to share common problem-solving strategies."We had a robust two days discussing a wide range of distribution, industry and regulatory issues, from the unbundling of airfares to the need for a global crisis communications platform,” said WTAAA Chair Peter Barlow.
