Liverpool Convention Bureau expands portfolio

Liverpool Convention Bureau is boosting its representation of the Liverpool City Region with the addition of ten new members to its portfolio.
The Bureau’s newest members collectively add 360 bedrooms, 12 cottages and a manor sleeping 46 guests, a 20 acre lake, a working furnace, over 42 event spaces and a selection of new delegate services, further enhancing the already extensive range of eclectic and varied conference and event products on offer.

The 2013 world conference on social (behaviour change) marketing has just closed in Toronto, Canada.

A new Purple Guide is launched

A new guide to help organisers find their way round the myriad of legislation and guidelines covering events has been published by the Events Industry Forum (EIF).
The Purple Guide, which has been written and produced by bringing together people from across the events industry and government, is designed to replace a document originally produced by the industry with the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) entitled ‘HSG195 A guide to health, safety and welfare at music and similar events’.
