Peyton Events, the event catering arm of Peyton and Byrne, operates in some of the capital’s most prestigious venues including The National Gallery, The Wallace Collection, Royal Academy of Arts, IWM London, Saatchi Gallery and The Institute of Contemporary Arts.
This acquisition will accelerate Sodexo’s growth in landmark London locations, and strengthen its presence in the capital, enabling Sodexo to create a platform from which to develop creative propositions for both its clients and customers. Such business will be underpinned by Sodexo’s robust operational standards and delivery expertise as demonstrated by its long-standing client relationships such as Ascot Racecourse, RHS Chelsea Flower Show and Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
The newly acquired contracts will continue to be led by Oliver and Siobhan Peyton. Oliver will lead on product development, support business development and foster culinary talent in his role as creative director and Siobhan will continue to manage the existing contracts and operations in her capacity as managing director of those contracts.
Tom Crocker, director of sales and marketing at Peyton Events said: ‘This marks an extremely exciting chapter for Peyton Events. We will continue to deliver fabulous events at the high standards our clients have come to expect, and look forward to expanding further, taking our business to the next level.’
Sodexo admired the synergy between the two businesses, particularly Oliver and Siobhan’s sophisticated and creative approach to catering and customer experience in an increasingly competitive market.
Peyton and Byrne was founded in 2005 by renowned restaurateurs Oliver and Siobhan Peyton.
