The Harrogate based company already supplies event services to the Royal College of Nursing for its prestigious annual congress and this year’s centenary event and has now been appointed to provide event services to three medical conferences and exhibitions being held in the town later this year
Harrogate International Centre will play host this autumn to three of the largest specialist medical conferences being held by the British Blood Transfusion Society, the Royal College of Midwives and Wounds UK.
The British Blood Transfusion Society’s annual conference, being staged from 21-23 September is the UK’s largest transfusion event, attracting more than 500 professionals from around the world for its programme of lectures, best practice advice and exhibition.
The Royal College of Midwives’ annual conference and exhibition (19-20 October) is a ‘must-attend’ event for more than 1,000 midwifery professionals and students who will gather to share knowledge, experiences and reflect on current practices.
Wounds UK will be held from 14-16 November, extending over Halls D and Q, as well as the theatre. The event attracts more than 1,300 visitors each year to learn the latest clinical opinion, research and policy from around the UK.
Joe Manby Limited will provide its full range of integrated event services for all three events including seminar areas, carpets, shell scheme, electrics and exhibitor graphics.
Richard Manby, director at Joe Manby Limited, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed for these shows right on our doorstep at the Harrogate International Centre and to extend our reach in the medical sector.”
